Stephanie Llorente is the owner of Prep Communications, an award-winning public relations consultancy that uses strategic communications to build, maintain and defend organization reputations to meet client goals.
Prior to founding Prep in 2015, Stephanie managed the corporate reputation for Butterball where she spent nearly eight years in roles of increasing responsibility and served most recently as the company’s public relations manager and spokesperson. In that role, she held responsibility for all corporate and crisis communication initiatives. She has logged many hours in PR agency settings on behalf of health care, technology, nonprofit and real estate development clients.
Stephanie also owns Restored, a faith-based business that delivers relevant resources and intentional community to working moms. She is in passionate pursuit of helping moms in the workplace feel seen, connected to like minded women, and supported in their multi-pronged roles as career-minded wives and mothers. She is a regular contributor to WRAL’s Go Ask Mom Blog.
A native of North Carolina, Stephanie has held a number of leadership positions with nonprofit organizations throughout the Triangle. She has served as the director of accreditation for the North Carolina chapter of the Public Relations Society of America and is a past president of the Raleigh Public Relations Society.
Stephanie earned her bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in public relations from North Carolina State University. She earned her APR credential from the Public Relations Society of America in 2014.
