Public Relations
Sarah Hattman has a passion for storytelling. From her decade in television news to creating award-winning client campaigns, Sarah intentionally searches for memorable ways to tell stories that matter.
Sarah’s experience as a television producer, reporter and anchor at WECT-TV in Wilmington, N.C., and KRQE in Albuquerque, N.M give her a distinctive PR perspective, especially where media relations are concerned. Her acute awareness of story crafting provides clients with strong guidance in all aspects of public relations – from planning and messaging to social media integration.
In past roles, Sarah has held responsibility for managing media relations for TripAdvisor and overseeing the Gathering of Nations, the world’s largest Native American powwow. Additionally, her campaign to rebrand an Albuquerque restaurant earned her Cumbre Best in Show awards by the New Mexico Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
Sarah earned her Accreditation in Public Relations from PRSA in 2013. She has served on the board of directors for the North Carolina PRSA chapter for 10 years and worked as the chapter’s president and co-chair of PRSA’s Southeast District Conference in 2018. She also serves as president of the Salem Academy and College Triangle Alumnae Club and has donated and volunteered at the WakeMed Mothers’ Milk Bank.
In her freetime, Sarah loves spending time outdoors, especially at the beach, with her husband and three daughters.
